Blaydon’s housing and setting
Blaydon’s older terraced streets sit close to the riverside, with later estate housing spreading up the hillside towards Winlaton and Whickham. Garden sizes and tree cover vary accordingly, more modest on the traditional terraces, with more room on the town’s later development further from the water.
A town with a genuine identity
Few towns in our coverage area have the same instant name recognition as Blaydon, thanks to its famous song, and we bring the same pride in a job well done to Blaydon’s gardens as the town itself takes in its heritage.
Riverside and hillside, all in one visit
Because Blaydon spans both flat riverside streets and higher ground climbing towards Winlaton, we regularly deal with quite different site conditions within a short distance of each other, and we plan access and equipment accordingly rather than assume a single approach fits the whole town.
